How to FTP with Dreamweaver

Step 1: Create Your Site

Dreamweaver stores it's FTP information in it's "Site Definitions." Go to Site / Manage Sites to bring up the Site Manager. Click on "New" to create a new site.

Note: Dreamweaver sites are completely artificial things. They can be set up to map to an entire website or to individual folders (and their subfolders) of a website. For this tutorial we will assume that the site will map for an entire website.
