Harriet was born via C-section. This was my first time with a spinal and I hope I never have to get one again! It was however wonderful to hear her first cries.

Harriet crashed into my pelvis on my way out and cried bitterly about it for a good twenty minutes. At least she scored high on the apgar test!

Here we are in the recovery room (204 B). It was not a comfortable room. It was too hot, too small and too dark with no where comfortable to sit.
