Harriet in the Sand:
For the first hour Harriet and Sean played in the sand.

Sean reluctantly shared the bulldozer that Uncle Glenn gave him.

Harriet Sorts Sand:
Mostly though she had fun using the sand sifter.

Crawling Away:
Although Harriet had started to walk over the holidays she did most of her exploring on her knees.

Fenced In:
One of the areas for the toddlers is fenced in. Harriet was watching her brother play in the area behind the fence.

Harriet Crusing:
Harriet paced up and down the fence watching Sean play on the other side.

Jailbird:
Harriet wanted to be let out of the toddler play area.

Come Here:
Since I wasn't letting her out, Harriet started calling to Sean to invite him over to her play area.

Throwing Rocks:
When Sean refused to come into the toddler play area, she started throwing rocks at him through the fence.

That Didn't Work:
Throwing rocks didn't accomplish much.

Free:
Sean finally finished playing in the back end of the park so Harriet was free to explore the new section.

More Exploring:
She prefered to crawl.

Drain:
Harriet was crawling over an area that is a water play section in the summer time. In winter the water is turend off.

Shades of Pink:
Harriet is almost hidden on this pink mat.

More Sand:
Harriet ended her day at the park right where she started, in the sand box.

Tan Bark on the Slide:
Why do young children like to do this?

This Goes Over Here:

Heading Home:
As you can see from her pleading face, she wasn't ready to go home but it had started to sprinkle.

Revolution:
I saw this note in the sand box. It says: "What were some of the causes of Revolution."

Harriet and Sean decided they needed more space between themselves.

Under the Slide:
Sean went to play under the slide in the older section. He was looking for rocks.

Ready to Climb:
Sean decided to climb the boulder. First he had to inspect it to find the best route.

Sean went up the boulder again.

Before we went home, I let Sean take a turn with the camera. The first thing he took was the sign welcoming children to the new section of the park.
