On My Wishlist: May 28, 2011: 05/27/11

This week I finished Theodosia and the Last Pharaoh by R.L. LaFevers. It was my favorite book in the series. I hope there's a fifth book. It's such a delightful series.

Now I'm reading Rebecca's World by Terry Nation. It's one of those books I don't remember adding to my wishlist but I do enjoy other things Terry Nation has written so I'm sure I'll like this book.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Your choice sounds rather interesting, though I've never actually heard of Zora Neale Hurston before.

PS: I suppose it will, but then again, I am a rather patient person. I don't have to have books as soon as I see them! So I think I'll be ok! I'm guessing you're talking from experience?

I can't remember when exactly I had heard of Hurston's books but my Armchair BEA interview with Ms Spinks inspired me to add the book to my wishlist. Since I started participating in the meme I decided it was time to actually try to read books off the list instead of just letting it balloon. I've read 50 books so far (and added about 400 books).

Interesting choice. I have read her African American folktale collection "Mules and Men" which was good. I have heard this book is amazing though.

I haven't heard of one of these books, but now I must go investigate. Their Eyes Were Watching God sounds a bit periodic like a Gone With the Wind type of book.

I've read other Terry Nation novels and enjoyed them. I just haven't read this one but it looks good.
