What Are You Reading: September 20, 2010: 09/19/10
It's Monday! What Are You Reading, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.
I love being a part of this and I hope you do too! As part of this weekly meme I love to encourage you all to go and visit the others participating in this meme. I offer a weekly contest for those who visit 10 or more of the Monday Meme participants and leave a comment. You receive one entry for every 10 comments, just come back here and tell me how many in the comment area.

I'm currently listening to Anne of Green Gables and really enjoying it. Hopefully you can get some fun reading in this week in the midst of text book reading

I go to bed every night thinking I'll have a few moments to read for fun but I always just end up turning off the light instead.

wow you had an amazing week! Look at all those books. I want to lock myself in the house and have a week like that!
Pussreboots
Most of the books were picture books or ones I had nearly finished after weeks and weeks of slowly reading them.

Hope the research is going well. At least you can fit some lighter reading in as well.
Have a great week!

The research will be an ongoing thing until November. Then I'll be writing up what I've researched.
Jan@eatingyabooks
Wow you had a terrific reading week and another one planned. I read your review of Hate the Cat and am now going to look for it. Thanks.

My only plan for reading right now is read for school as quickly and efficiently as I can.

As you can see though most of those books are for research right now.

Thanks for visiting my blog. At least you have some fun books mixed in with your research. I'll have to check out some of the picture books you have been reading - I'm always on the lookout for new books to read to my son.
Hopefully we'll both start making our way through our reviews. Have a wonderful week.
Pussreboots
I've posted a few more picture bok reviews this week and I have more than I'm reading. They are short enough to read for fun between the research.

Wow, you've been busy....I feel like a bit of a slacker this week. But I did make it through Dante's The Divine Comedy I: Hell, so maybe not too much of a slacker. Here's my week
Pussreboots
You're reading Dante, for goodness sake. Definitely not slacking.

I always wanted to visit Prince Edward Island after reading Anne of Green Gables. I hope you love it.

Bannock Beans and Black Tea was fascinating. I'll get it reviewed as soon as I can.

I am undergoing a reading slump. You did well. Have another great reading week ahead!
Pussreboots
I want to read something longer for fun and actually finish it.

Oh! Alison Jay and Melanie Watt! Two of our family's favorites! I hope you and your daughter enjoyed them. :)
Have a fabulous reading week and if you get a second stop by There's A Book to take a look at what I‚ve got planned for the week! :)
Pussreboots
Sorry for the late reply. I am completely buried under research and other school work.

I've reserved The Red Pyramid at the library. I'm working my way through Percy Jackson and can't wait for the next series.
Pussreboots
The Red Pyramid is very different from the Percy Jackson series but a lot of fun. I really want to finish it.
Dead Trees and Silver Screens
Sounds like you read some super cute kids book. Have a great week and enjoy your reading. Looking forward to seeing what you thought of The Red Pyramid.
Pussreboots
I really liked The Red Pyramid but The Throne of Fire dragged in places for me.
