Devil to PayEBook: Devil to Pay: Chapter Twenty-One: 06/30/10

Although this story arc has three main books, I started with the middle one, The Captain's Daughter. I had a four person team from Earth augmented by two native born princesses. As the arc evolved, I realized it didn't make sense for princesses to be part of the team nor did it make sense for princess regent to be just a regent.

Chapter Twenty-One of Devil to Pay explains how Aurora and Amelia came to be on the team and why they shouldn't be there. It also shows the point where Keith breaks from orders. I didn't want him to come to the mission already corrupt; he needed to deserve the assignment. But by The Captain's Daughter he had to be corrupt. Here's the point of no return.

There are three more chapters to post before Devil to Pay is complete. You can download the full version early though if you want. I am currently getting ready to start posting chapters from The Captain's Daughter.
