If you could ask your favorite author (alive or dead) one question ... who would you ask, and what would the question be?

I've been puzzling over this week's Booking Through Thursday topic since it posted at midnight. To be honest, I can't think of a question. I think the reason I'm having so much trouble is because authors these days are so open with their readers.

So instead of asking a question, I'm going to recommend some author blogs.
