9 for 2009: 12/30/08

I'm joining one more reading challenge. This one is called 9 for 2009. Like the What's in a Name Challenge, the idea is to read a different book from a different category (in this case 9).

The challenge runs for a year (December 27, 2008 - December 27, 2009). There will be quarterly prizes and there is a blog to post links to your reviews. In that regard, the challenge resembles the Decades Challenge.

My tentative list includes:

Strange: The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson
Distance: Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne
Alive or Not: Isle of the Dead by Roger Zelazny
Cover: The Stainless Steel Rat Gets Drafted by Harry Harrison (it's one of my favorite covers)
