The rules for the contest are as follows:

  1. Contest runs from today through October 15th at 11PM Pacific Time
  2. Winner will be notified via email at 11PM on the day the contest ends have 3 days to respond with a mailing address. If no response is received in that time, a new winner will be picked.
  3. Open to the entire world.

  5. For extra credit you can:

My Favourite photographer is someone you may not have heard about but in this countries history he was a very important one. He brought us and the world pictures of what was really happening and kept us facused on searching for peace in South Africa.

His name - Ken Osterbrook.

Shot dead while trying to get just one more shot at age 32.

This is easy for me. I saw Robert Mapplethorpe's 'The Perfect Moment' for the dirty pics. Yea, I looked at the dirty pics. But the scope of his genius startled me. Anyone can take a picture but he created compelling and distinctive art. I don't get that feeling from anyone else besides Ansel Adams. It saddens me to realize Ann Geddes and Annie Liebovitz are considered great photographers. Give me mapplethorpe.
