We will be stopping in Klamath Falls and La Grand as well as other points of interest. I will be photographing the whole thing and posting the photographs on livejournal when we get to our hotels. Who knows, maybe I'll even get some snarfing done.
What does it mean for this blog?
I will do my best to keep up with my commitment to a book review a day. If I miss any days of posting I will post extra reviews once I'm home to make up for the missed days.

Ooooooooh! Portland and Powell's! I'm rubbing my hands together in glee over here.
My husband has a conference this summer (July) in Portland. I'm anxiously awaiting confirmation that his work will pay for it and if so, then I'll be joining him post-conference so we can travel around Oregon/Washington. I'd totally forgotten about Powell's being in Portland. Heh. I guess I'll have to leave a little extra room in my suitcase. I'm sure I can do some damage there!
Have a wonderful getaway! I think I'm on the wrong coast - so many places I'd love to go/see are out west."

Will you be coming up I-5? Where will you intersect? I am about 60 seconds off I-5, and there are fast food joints/truck stop just where I live. If it coincides with a snack time/works for you, let me know. :)"

We are taking the I5, hooking up with it where the 505 joins up with it near Dunnigan but we're coming in late on Wednesday. We'll stop for dinner somewhere between Dunnigan and our first destination, Redding. After that we're taking the I5 until Weed where we'll hook up with the 97 and make our way into eastern Oregon.
Where are you right now? "
