Thirteen Months and Standing: 10/05/07

In the last two weeks since Harriet's well baby appointment she has mastered the fine art of pulling to standing. This morning she was even practicing free standing before breakfast. So far through she hasn't shown much interest in cruising or walking.

Harriet's favorite places to stand up are in her crib and pulling up on my leg (whether I am sitting or standing). We also have a box will pillows on it as a makeshift ottoman that Harriet likes to use for standing practice.

Since Harriet is now standing in her crib I've lowered her mattress a notch. So far she isn't showing any interest in climbing. When she does I'll lower the mattress the final notch.
