Comments for Owl PostOwl Post: 01/06/06When we made the drive home on the first, we forgot Sean's owls. Judy packed them up and sent them (and two books we had also forgotten) Priority Mail. The box's arrival yesterday made Sean's day. He went to bed with Owl under one arm and Floopy-Owl under the other arm. He got the best night's sleep since returning home. Monster in the Clock:For about a year now Sean has had a monster living in his clock and the bedtime ritual which I think I've mentioned before includes telling the monster to stay in the clock. Anyway, a few nights ago Sean finally described his monster to me. He's small and green. The green is the shade of Frankenstein's monster but Sean's monster doesn't look like Frankenstein's monster. Sean's monster has four legs (no arms), eight eyes, eight noses and eight ears. He's also apparently a quiet monster. Sean then told me that Ian and I have a monster in our clock radio. Our monster is very different than Sean's. Ours is big and looks more or less human but has two noses, four eyes and four ears. Our monster is very loud and likes to stomp around in his socks and boots. © 1997-2012 Sarah Sammis
