Comments for Laptop Fixed

Laptop Fixed: 01/18/06

Thanks to Ian's persistance last night at the DHL office at the airport, my computer is home! The logic board and inverter both had died and needed replacing. It took an hour of pacing at the DHL office plus a few angry phone calls to get my machine home but he did it! I'm so pleased to have it home and can't thank Ian enough for all the effort he put into getting it fixed and getting it home.

Meanwhile, Sean and I were at home. I fed him a peanut butter and apricot jam sandwhich and we watched Madagascar (a much better film than I was expecting giving the really lame previews) and the penguin short (originally shown before Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were Rabbit). By seven thirty when Ian still wasn't home (but had called to announce his success), Sean was getting worried. I offered to give him his bath but he insisted on waiting for Ian (as it was his turn). Once Ian was home and Sean was bathed and put to bed, I made egg and spinach sandwiches for us for dinner and we shared a grapefruit for dessert.
