Good Morning Hug: 08/04/05
I had a wonderful wake up call this morning (though Ian might disagree as he looked very tired). Sean must have heard the alarm go off and he came running into our room and bounced on top of me, giving me a huge bear hug. What a delightful way to wake up on an otherwise dreary morning when I would have only had a migraine to complain about.

We sent Sean back to bed for "ten more minutes" (our code for we want to sleep in a little more) and I got dressed. I heard him playing with his garage toy and decided to repay the kindness by giving him a hug before I left. I gave him a big hug and put my shoes on in his room while he sat next to me on his bed and commented on how I was wearing my black cat socks and then went on to tell me all his plans for the day.

Construction Update:
It looks like the repairs to our townhouse are nearly complete. They completely resided the front of our home yesterday, save for a wee little bit here and there. They have the scaffolding set up in the back so I expect they will be working there today. All that will be left will be the entry stairs. Even though we won't be painted until October at the earliest, the place already looks much improved.
