Rhubarb Plum Apple Pie: 06/06/05
The plum tree's fruit is ripe and we've been picking as much of it as we can before the contractors come to trim it back
so that our place can be painted. To use up some of the fruit I made a pie last night. Here's the recipe:
Rhubarb Plum Apple Pie
Oil double crust:
2 1/4 cups flour
2/3 cup oil
1/3 cold milk
Fruit filling:
1 cup finely chopped rhubarb
3 cups Japanese dwarf plum (pitted)
1 Granny Smith apple
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tbs flour
Bake at 375 degrees F. for 20 minutes. Enjoy!
