A Walk Through Hayward:

8/14/04 We had a lovely day walking through down town Hayward, which is defined by the blocks of Main and Mission to the east and west and A through E streets running north to south. On our walk we stopped to look at kitchen tile at Oasis Tile. Then we walked through the wonderful farmer's market but we hadn't come with enough money to buy any of the wonderful fruits, vegetables and other sundries for sale. Next Saturday we we'll go prepared. We ended our walk at the lovely two story Hayward library which was having a used book sale. We went home with four books: two science fiction, one physics text book from 1917 and a tropical island story from 1905 that is in near perfect condition. How could I resist?
