Won't Be Watching the Olympics:

8/11/04 I won't be watching the Olympics this year because I don't have cable and my local over the air NBC affiliate doesn't come in where I live. I also don't have a Visa card so couldn't even watch streaming versions online (if I were so inclined). I know they're doing it just for branding and I'm not going to get a Visa just so that credit card brand can get an artificial rise in card carriers because of the Olympics.

Instead, I will be reading about the various teams, sports and countries in my local papers and online through other countries' news sites. Screw NBC and Visa.
