 Ernest Ernest is the fifth child in The Gashlycrumb Tinies. He choked on a peach. I created the peach in Carrara's vertex editor. Created January 14, 2007 |
 Fanny Fanny is the sixth child in The Gashlycrumb Tinies. She was gotten by a leech. I created the hat in Carrara's vertex modeler. Created January 17, 2007 |
 George George is the seventh child in The Gashlycrumb Tinies. In the book he's actually suffocated by a rug but that seemed really difficult to illustrate in the style I've set up for this series. I put the tipped over chair to draw attention to the rug. The butterfly is just there to provide a little contrast to the blue of the carpet. Created January 21, 2007 |

 Ida I had trouble setting up the scene for Ida. I originally tried using Wappen's boat but it just didn't work right in the scene. Also I had the lighting too dark to show the water. I ended up building the boat in Carrara and restarted the project from a copy I spawned off Fanny. Created January 28-30, 2007 |

 Rhoda Rhoda is the next Gashlycrumb Tiny. She was consumed by fire. I decided to go with playing with fire rather than spontaneous combustion. I know that matches don't burn as I've made this one burn but I thought the exaggeration made for a better illustration. Created March 15, 2007 |

 Titus Titus was "blown to bits" by a package bomb. I was reluctant to work on this one because I thought the bow would be difficult. It ended up being easy. Created March 25, 2007 |
 Una Una was washed down a drain. I've had compliments for this one being "brighter" than the previous renders. All of the renders are using the exact same staging and lighting. The placement of the items and the materials used on those items react differently to the set up. Created March 27, 2007 |

 Winnie I am almost finished with the Gashycrumb series. Winnie was trapped in the ice. My ice cubes added three days to the render time. Created April 4-6, 2007 |
 Xerxes Xerxes was devoured by mice. I had toyed with creating and rendering a mouse trap for the piece but the toy mice seemed funnier. Created April 13, 2007 |
