Lemon GlassLemon Glass
I was inspired by Carol Marine's painting "Up or Down." Her painting uses pears but I decided to use lemons instead.

CirclesCircles
I was inspired by Lisa Kowalski's painting "Gold Swirls" which I saw on Molly's blog, "A View from the Way Here."

Brown EggsBrown Eggs
I was inspired by the painting "Four Brown Eggs" by Jelaine Faunce. I did try a couple renders with a variety of glass materials for the bowl but I wasn't able to see if the eggs were sitting in the bowl correctly. I changed it to a brown shade to test their placement. I might go back sometime and put the glass material back.

Infinite CoffeeInfinite Coffee
I saw a rant about tea vs. coffee on Noisy Decent Graphics and at the top of the post there is this wonderful photograph of a sea of mugs. I so loved all these dozens of mugs that I decided to take my recently adjusted coffee cup and make my own version of the photograph. Although I am as much a tea addict as Ben is, I ended up doing a render devoted to coffee in honor of Ian who often seems to be capable of drinking infinite coffee.

Blue PoppyBlue Poppy
Artist Carol Marine says in her statement about "Blue Daisy" that she is struggling her paintings being too dark. It is her use of dark tones and uniform pallets that attracks me so much to her work. My latest render "Blue Poppy" is obviously inspired by "Blue Daisy." I switched the daisy for a poppy because I like the balance of complimentary colors and because I had one on hand. The bottles are reused from "Square Bottles" and the coffee cup has been featuring prominantly in many of this month's pieces.

Inspired by Carol Marine's painting called "Apple Journey."

Coeur de VerreCoeur de Verre
I saw the lovely photograph "Glass Beads" on Postcards from the Clouds and had to try something similar in Bryce. I started with the same set up as in "Red and Yellow" but I adjusted the lighting and simplified the textures of the backdrop.

Soy SauceSoy Sauce
I had Michael Napel's painting "Chop Stick Reflections" in mind when I put "Soy Sauce" together but it wasn't until we had sushi last night that I wanted to do render like this one.
