Clam Beach Stream I've been struggling the last few weeks with ideas for either 3D renders or 2D drawings. Clam Beach Stream is a Bryce render from a photograph I took at Clam Beach during our February trip.

Complimentary Colors Inspired by two things. The first is my son's yellow bucket that we got for our trip to San Diego. The second is a lovely pastel I saw on a The Pastel Painting Blog.

Under Construction "Under Construction" is my first hand drawn portrait since December of 2006. This time I used the pen tool on four separate layers (hat, skin, shirt and sky) to draw the construction worker. In my most recent drawings, I've been using Illustrator but I prefer the color selection tools of Photoshop and I'm more comfortable with the program.

EchoesI took the render from "Parallel Lines" and made a gray scale height map for Bryce's terrain editor. I then made a box of these terrains, added in some new red balls and rendered.
