Predatory Dance I wanted to update "The Deep", a piece I did in 2001. I built this attempt at a shark in Carrara (the ray is a model from 2002). While it is much improved over the previous attempt it has room for improvement. At the moment though I plan to move onto something new as the render took 4 days to complete!

Frosty MargaritaAgain I've gone back to older images and I came across my martini images. As I still use the martini model on a regular basis I decided I should do something new but similar. Tomorrow as my last meal before my c-section my mother is taking us out for a Mexican dinner, I decided the best model to make would be a margarita.
I included my parrot neon sign as a tribute to one of the books I'm currently reading, Tales from Margaritaville by Jimmy Buffet.

PhototherapyWhile Harriet was receiving her phototherapy I spent thirteen hours behind this curtain with her. The lights were too bright to look at the incubator directly for very long. Instead I found myself staring at the curtain and the interestingly colored shadows cast by the blue and green lights.

Hawaiian Pizza After making a comment about my love of Hawaiian pizza (and never getting to eat it) on LiveJournal, my mother mentioned that she and my brother also love that type of pizza. If I lived closer to them I think we'd plan a Hawaiian pizza night.
