The Lovers' KnotThe Lovers' Knot
Who are these lovers? Are they the cat and the chicken or some unseen couple? Honestly, I don't know but I can tell you that the title comes from quilt pattern on the bed.

Another Garage Sale FindAnother Garage Sale Find
While I've never purchased or even bid on anything on ebay, recently I've realized that the site is a great source of inspiration for kitchy models. These mushroom decorated jars are my most recent "find" on the website. I created my version of the mushrooms in Illustrator and then did the modeling in Carrara. I put everything together and rendered the picture in Bryce as usual.

Living SingleLiving Single
I created the olive oil dispenser last night. First I drew the sunflowers on the bottom in Illustrator and then I built the bottle in Carrara. I did the materials and rendering in Bryce. This kitchy scene reminded of the the sort of place I'd probably have if I were single.

Lloyd's PondLloyd's Pond
I created this piece with plants by Xceiverx (at the 3DCommune). The render took three days and was done while watching my husband play Harvest Moon.

Dying Eggs a Week LateDying Eggs a Week Late
Last week we were so busy doing other things that we completely forgot to dye our Easter eggs. So, yesterday (a week late), we finally did. They turned out beautiful but when I went to take a photograph of them, I learned that our digital camera has lost its mind. Instead, I have recreated the essence of the scene (though these eggs aren't as colorful) with Carara and Bryce.
