Afternoon in the Park The park in Castro Valley near Sean's school has some beautiful yellow benches. I decided to try to recreate them. I made the bench in Carrara, set up and rendered the image in Bryce and did some touch up work in Photoshop.

Daffodil
Wall The daffodils are in bloom and I wanted to see if I could recreate them. I used Carrara's vertex editor for the bloom and I am pleased with the result.

Marsden Rock I was inspired by a photograph I saw online to try my hand again at a Bryce seascape. It has been more than a year since I've tried one. I set up the initial shapes in Bryce and then augmented the results in Photoshop.

Power StruggleHere's another render using Spacebones's lovely model. This picture is inspired by a photography I saw recently of some power lines climbing over a hill. The photograph was taken in England but for this piece I've decided to give the setting a central California feel.

Cratered
Landscape I modified Planet R2SR to lower the height of the mountains. I'm also missing a couple plug-ins so the planet didn't render as well as it should have.

Spring Time by the Freeway After nearly two months of rain even the freeway drainage ditches are looking beautiful. This render is based on a pretty spot I saw along the 101. The foreground weeds are by 3DCommune member Erasor except for the sunflower which I redid in Photoshop.

CocoaI did this render of R2SR at home. The machine at home can render the real time graphics in a reasonable matter so that I'm not rendering blind.

Krabben und SterneI like to use Illustrator to design custom textiles for use in Bryce. It's been a while (more than a year?) since I've created a new textile. While reading an old copy of Florida Design I saw a wonderful crab pattern chair and was inspired to make this piece which I hope to use in a Bryce render soon.

Kreb's Sitting Room The chair on the right hand side is my first test of the crab and star fish textile that I created in Illustrator. Apparently this salty sea dog is either a child or has children from the toys left on the seats.
