August 2001:
These are my creations for the month of August, 2001.
What?This angry cat is made up of Photoshop custom shapes.
The
Mask Metaballs allow for the blending of materials. I took advantage of that feature in "The Mask." Negative metaballs work somewhat like negative boolean operations. The nose is a red sphere.
Antique
Fireplace I took most of the month to build and light this piece. By the time I was done I had learned a great deal but I was also throughly sick of the project!
La Jolla Cove 1I drew this in Photoshop from a photograph I had taken some years ago.
The
Student I ran this through a few Photoshop filters. It's a photograph of Ian right after he went back to school for a masters in math. He's now working towards a PhD in math.
