April 2001:
These are my creations for the month of April, 2001. My computer
suffered a major crash in February and I was unable to create for
February and March, 2001.
Sunny Los Angeles
I took a color photograph I had snapped at MacCarther Park and sepia toned it. Ten I added
some noise and the old fashioned photograph album corners. Of course the skyline in Los Angeles
didn't take this form until the mid 1980s/early 1990s but it was still a fun exercise.
Corwin...
One Prince in Amber
This Photoshop collage is inspired by the Amber series by Roger Zelazny.
Thank Your For Your Support
I drew this piece in Photoshop just after my second miscarriage to thank everyone who had
sent me words of support and virtual hugs. Of course #3 was the charm and we now have our
son Sean. So a happy ending to a sad picture!
Gargoyle
2
Back in 2001 I was a product tester for the 3DCommune and this was one of those test
images. I like the colors of it but otherwise it's not one of my favorites.
Martini
Every so often I get the urge to do some boolean operation modeling with Bryce primatives.
This martini is one of my favorite boolean models.
All
Hands on Deck
This piece is a Photoshop collage.
Luna
I did this with a Flaming Pear plug in and a ding bat font in Photoshop.
Back
I drew this to piece to try out some Photoshop plug ins but I no longer have this package.
Victorian Meditation
I mapped a photograph of a humming bird on a symetrical lattice for both the gray scale bump
and the color material.
Crabby
Joe's
I put this together in Photoshop from some photos I had on hand. I don't recall what
font I used for the text.
School
of Fish
I think this piece was my first attempt at using custom shapes and styles in Photoshop.
Three Wings
I don't remember what inspired this piece. It is a Photoshop collage.
